Notes |
- ReOrbit has successfully completed the preliminary design review (PDR) of WARPSPACE’s WarpHub InterSat constellation, a 3-satellite mission for an optical data relay service in medium Earth orbit (MEO). The satellites are based on ReOrbit’s satellite platform Gluon, an advanced software-defined platform, optimised for autonomy, fault-tolerance, and on-orbit networking. Now, entering the next phase of the development, the design will be finalised and reviewed in mid-2022 in a critical design review (CDR). The first satellite is planned to reach its final orbit by the end of 2023, after launch and orbital adjustments.
- WARPSPACE, which is building a high-speed optical laser communication network in space, and Synspective, which provides solutions through satellite data analysis, develops and operates small SAR satellites, and provides SAR data, have agreed to proceed with technical verification using software to analyze data acquisition frequency and speed when using an optical laser communication network.
- Privateer Partners with WARPSPACE to Improve Space Situational Awareness, Helping Maneuver Space Safely and Effectively.
- Mynaric signs order from WARPSPACE for CONDOR terminals and marks first sale in Japanese space industry. The terminals will be used by WARPSPACE to establish a commercial optical data relay network for Earth observation satellites with product deliveries scheduled for 2023, 2024 and 2025.
- Warpspace Completes PDR of First Satellite for Optical Communication Service, Ahead of Launch in 2025, 2023-06-30. The PDR was conducted for the first satellite, scheduled to be launched in 2025 and will consist of an optical communication network called WarpHub InterSat.
