Orbital Sidekick (GHOSt)

• Once we deploy our full hyperspectral satellite constellation over the next 18 months, we will be able to offer a daily monitoring capability.
• Broader goal of having a six-satellite GHOSt constellation in orbit by the end of 2023
• A sixth satellite is expected to launch within the year (of April 2024). A GHOSt constellation of 14 to 20 satellites to provide weekly global monitoring is OSK’s goal.

• Orbital Sidekick is preparing to launch its second hyperspectral sensor in December on a Loft Orbital satellite scheduled to travel on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rideshare flight. SpaceNews, 2000-10-15.
• OSK requests authorization to launch and operate a constellation of six small satellites, GHOSt, in the Earth exploration satellite service pursuant to the FCC's Part 25 streamlined small satellite rules.
• GHOSt 1 & 2, passed vibration testing including all functional checks. Gearing up for Falcon 9 Transporter 7 early 2023!
• 91.4 kg Astro Digital's Corvus-XL spacecraft.
• NRO signs agreements with commercial providers of hyperspectral imagery. The companies selected are BlackSky, HyperSat, Orbital Sidekick, Pixxel, Planet and Xplore.
• OSK leverages best-in-class hyperspectral intelligence (HSI) system/payload, which is capable of capturing nearly 500 spectral bands with 20x greater sensitivity than traditional monitoring, resulting in 100x more data. Our technology is enabling the efficient and effective monitoring of America’s most critical energy infrastructure and defense needs, and providing near real time insights to energy providers and the defense sector.
