Notes |
- $3M grant to finance 50% of development of next generation of satellites.
- AAC Clyde Space Glasgow will develop, manufacture and gain in-orbit heritage on its next generation nano and small satellites having secured financial support from Scottish Enterprise (SE). With a standardized and modularized design, the satellites will combine cutting edge technology with constellation ready productization, 2020-06-05.
- The acquisition of Omnisys Instruments was completed on 30 April 2021. The combination of existing cubesat knowledge with microwave sensing technology should allow AAC Clyde Space to extend its product and service offering in the high growth, space-based weather and climate data market.
- AAC Clyde Space’s subsidiary AAC Hyperion has acquired a contract to develop an onboard artificial intelligence (AI) capability for small satellites in collaboration with the Royal Netherlands Aerospace Centre (NLR). The European Space Agency (ESA) will fund the project with EUR 0.41 M (approx. SEK 4.2 M) sponsored by the Netherlands Space Office (NSO). The funding comes through ESA’s General Support Technology Programme (GSTP).
- Design and Development of a Scalable, Modular and Efficient Maximum Power Point Tracking Stage for a CubeSat EP
- AAC Clyde Space and its partners, have agreed to move into the final phase of the xSPANCION project, the demonstration phase. This will begin with a phase 3A focused on scaling constellation production capacity and delivering data services to users. This value of this phase is 3.3 MEUR (approx. 35.8 MSEK), of which the UK Space Agency, through the ESA's Pioneer Partnership Projects, will contribute 1.6 MEUR (approx. 17.9 MSEK), 2022-11-03.
- AAC Clyde Space, a leading New Space company, has received a EUR 234 k (approx. SEK 2.6 M) order from UK-based Space Forge to provide space products for a demonstration spacecraft designed to leverage the space environment for production and experiments, capable of performing multiple trips to space.
